Albert Villegas attended college at Pan American University in Edinburg, Texas, graduating with a Bachelors of Science, then moved on to law school at the University of Houston, Bates Law School, receiving a Doctor or Jurisprudence degree in 1983 and becoming licensed that same year. Initially working for one of the most successful Personal Injury Law firms in Houston for three years, until he went out and opened his own law practice in South Texas.
Albert Villegas has been licensed and practicing law since 1983, recently celebrating 37 years of representing workers and their families in personal injury litigation. Albert tried his first case in 1982 as a Third year law student, assisting a partner in Federal Court. Since that time Albert has tried over a hundred cases, the majority of which were related to personal injury. Albert has tried cases to verdicts including one verdict in excess of Twelve Million ($12,000,000.00) dollars. Albert has had many more million dollar settlements.
Albert practiced in South Texas for 30 years trying cases in State and Federal Courts. In 2012 Albert joined the team here at the Law Office of Domingo Garcia and has tried several personal injury cases in Collin County, Tarrant County and Dallas County.
