My parents are from Montgomery Alabama, raised in a family with deep beliefs of advocacy and activism. As a child I was afforded the opportunity to live in a variety of cities while my father proudly served as an Officer in the United Stated Airforce for over 20 years. Living in diverse communities, one practice applied across all situations; apologize when you are wrong, and praise those who achieve. This simple thought started the journey as a voice for the injured.
After graduating high school, I attended the University of Alabama, where in 2004, I obtained my Bachelor’s of Arts in Communications with a focus on Public Relations. Afterwards I attended Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University. While in Law School I had the honor of interning at Harris County District Attorney’s Office. I also earned my mediation certificate and served as a mediator for the Harris County Justice of the Peace Courts. After earning my Juris Doctorate in 2007, I returned to Alabama to advocate on behalf of consumers in products liability, and Deceptive Trade Practices Act cases as well as those seeking justice in employment discrimination matters. I subsequently returned to Texas in 2011 to advise corporations as the voice of the consumer as well as represent those injured by the acts of others.
I strive to provide comfort and confidence to my clients during unfamiliar journey. It has been my honor to be afforded the opportunity represent Plaintiffs and provide favorable resolutions for my clients.
My mother always tells the story that as a small kid around 5 years old, I stated I wanted to be a lawyer ( so I could sue my big brother for picking on me). At a young age, I believed in a justice system that would make the injured whole.
