Meagan A. Garcia joined the Domingo Garcia Law Office in August of 2022. She was born in Odessa, Texas and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. She became a first-generation college graduate when she attended Texas Tech University, earning a Bachelor of Science in International Economics and a minor in Spanish. Ms. Garcia was a member of Phi Alpha Delta, and the President of Chi Rho Catholic Fraternity.
Thereafter, Ms. Garcia went on to earn her Juris Doctorate at Texas Southern University – Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas. While in law school, she competed in Moot Court and was an associate editor of the Thurgood Marshall Law Journal. Ms. Garcia volunteered in the Pro Bono Family Law Clinic and Immigration Clinic during law school, sharing her legal skills with the Houston community.
Since law school Ms. Garcia has continued to advocate for her clients in a diverse range of practice areas. While she has experience in multiple areas of law, her true passion is helping injury victims. Ms. Garcia is firm in her belief that the law provides an avenue for victims to be heard and justice to be served. This mentality is what drives Ms. Garcia every day in advocating for her clients.
Ms. Meagan A. Garcia is a member of the Houston Trial Lawyers Association, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Mexican American Bar Association, and the Houston Young Lawyers Association.
When not in the office or in the courtroom, Ms. Garcia spends time with her family and friends, working out, traveling, and collecting vinyl records to add to her already 2000 plus record collection.
