On or about October 7, 2023, the Plaintiffs were passengers in a vehicle driven by Defendant. While traveling southbound on Interstate 35 near the 6000 block in Waxahachie, Ellis County, Texas, the Plaintiffs’ vehicle stalled and came to a stop with its warning lights activated. A few minutes later, co-defendant failed to control his speed, maintain a proper lookout, execute reasonable evasive maneuvers, or slow down his vehicle.
While racing another commercial vehicle, he changed lanes and collided with the stationary Plaintiffs’ vehicle. Settlement amount of $2,320,000.00 + $550,000.00 + $264,972.34 (passengers)
