A 28–year–old Abilene woman was killed in a head–on collision in Odessa early Saturday morning.
The crash happened around 2 a.m. on West University Boulevard near the intersection of JBS Parkway. Odessa Police say the woman was driving a Toyota Tacoma when she collided with a Chevrolet Silverado.The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not been released.
The driver of the Silverado was taken to a local hospital with non–life threatening injuries. Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
This is a tragic story, and our hearts go out to the victim’s family. Losing a loved one in a preventable car accident is always especially devastating.
