On or about April 7, 2020, at approximately 8:30 p.m., plaintiff was traveling as a passenger with her husband in their white 2008 Ford F250, heading northbound on the 9900 block of S. FM 157. At the same time, defendant was traveling eastbound in the 100 block of FM 2258 in a white 2003 GMC Yukon. Defendant failed to stop and yield the right of way at a stop sign, causing her vehicle to T-bone plaintiff’s vehicle on the driver’s side.
As a result of the collision, plaintiff was transported by EMS to Methodist Mansfield and released several hours later. Plaintiff’s husband was transported via CareFlite to Texas Health Harris Fort Worth, where he was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival.
