On June 30, 2019, the Plaintiff was traveling on FM 1570 in a black 2007 Toyota RAV4. The Defendant was traveling in the opposite direction on FM 1570 in a white 2013 Chevrolet Silverado. The Defendant was driving at a high rate of speed as he approached the intersection at Highway 66 and failed to stop at the stop sign. The Defendant’s vehicle struck another vehicle traveling on Highway 66, which was crossing FM 1570.
The force of that collision caused the impacted vehicle to strike the Plaintiff’s vehicle on the front driver’s side, pushing it off the roadway.
