houston hit and run crash kills driver attorney domingo garcia

On Thursday night, a Maserati was sideswiped by a Jeep in a hit-and-run crash in Houston. The Maserati then crashed into a tree and the driver was killed. The hit and run crash happened around 9:30 p.m. on La Rue Street near Buffalo Bayou.

The Jeep continued rolling until it hit a utility pole at Eberhard. Police say everyone inside the Jeep fled from the scene, although the exact number of occupants is unknown. The vehicle had paper plates issued from the dealership.

Out of the four people in the Maserati, two passengers died at the scene. The driver and third passenger were transported to the hospital in critical condition. All are men, believed to be in their 20s to 30s.

Police say the Maserati was heading east on La Rue when it was hit by the Jeep, which was going north on West Dallas. The Jeep then fled the scene. The driver of the Maserati, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

This is a tragic story and our thoughts go out to the family of the victim. It’s infuriating that the driver of the Jeep would hit another vehicle and then just flee the scene, leaving the other driver to die. We hope that police are able to track down the responsible party and bring them to justice.
