Condolences to the family of Cecilio Pule, 56, of Haltom City, who died on December 28th, just days after Christmas. According to news reports, Pule died after being pinned under the hydraulic arm of a garbage truck that was being repaired by a mechanic.
According to a press release by the Grapevine Police Department, investigators determined the garbage truck had a mechanical problem prior to the accident, and a mechanic was sent over to troubleshoot and make repairs. While the mechanic was inside the cab, he moved the hydraulic arm, then stepped out of the truck and saw the truck operator on the ground. He did not know the operator had stepped onto an area where the arm would drop.

Pule’s daughters told NBC 5 (KXAS-TV) last week that they are looking for additional information regarding the circumstances of their father’s death.
“We deserve answers, some kind of guidance as to what happened,” Johanna Pule told the station. “Some light to be shed about the situation and there’s nothing. Nothing. I understand there’s an investigation, but we deserve answers.”
