On June 28, 2024, at approximately 12:20 p.m., plaintiff was traveling southbound on North Beach Street in a black 2022 Toyota Highlander and was turning right at the yield to proceed onto Heritage Trace Parkway. At the same time, defendant was traveling southbound on North Beach Street behind plaintiff in a brown 2003 Honda Pilot and was also attempting to turn right at the yield onto Heritage Trace Parkway. Defendant failed to control her speed and failed to slow her vehicle, thereby rear-ending plaintiff’s vehicle.
As a direct and proximate result of defendant’s negligence, plaintiff sustained bodily injuries and her vehicle sustained property damage.
