On July 2, 2025, at approximately 9:52 p.m., Plaintiff was traveling westbound in Royse City, Texas on SH 276 near 6500 SH 276 in a 1997 Chevrolet C10. The Defendant was traveling in the same direction behind Plaintiff in a 2000 Toyota Camry. As Plaintiff approached the intersection of SH 276 and FM 550, he slowed his vehicle in preparation to make a left turn onto southbound FM 550. The Defendant failed to control his speed and maintain a safe following distance and rear-ended Plaintiff’s vehicle.
As a result of the Defendant’s negligent conduct, Plaintiff sustained bodily injuries and property damage.
