On August 1, 2024, at approximately 3:05 p.m., the Plaintiff was shopping at a Walmart Supercenter located at 12300 Lake June Rd, Balch Springs, TX 75180, in the pharmacy section. While walking in front of the pharmacy, the Plaintiff slipped on water on the floor and began to fall backward but was able to catch onto her spouse before hitting the ground.
The Plaintiff sought out a store manager to report the incident. The store manager created store claim #L4328705, took pictures of the scene, and called staff to clean the area. The Plaintiff was informed that Walmart would reach out within 2–7 days.
As a result of the incident, the Plaintiff reported lower back pain, middle back pain, upper back pain, left hip pain, and neck tension.
