On May 12, 2021, at approximately 2:45 p.m., plaintiff was a passenger on a SPAN shuttle bus traveling westbound on January Lane in Ponder, Texas. Plaintiff was the last passenger remaining on the shuttle when the driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the roadway and collide with a tree.
