On May 13, 2022, at approximately 4:00 p.m., the Plaintiff was traveling southbound on SH-360 in a white 2008 Chevrolet Silverado. The Defendant, operating a white 2011 truck owned by True Grit Transportation, Inc., was also traveling on SH-360. The Plaintiff was preparing to take the Trinity Boulevard exit, which consists of two lanes, and was driving in the second lane of the exit ramp. The Defendant’s vehicle, which was in the right lane designated for exiting, attempted to re-enter SH-360 instead of continuing onto the exit. In doing so, the Defendant’s trailer collided with the Plaintiff’s vehicle.
As a result of the collision, the Plaintiff sustained injuries, and his vehicle sustained significant damage.
