On or about October 22, 2022, at approximately 10:30 p.m., the Plaintiff was attending her nephew’s wedding as a guest at The Olana wedding venue. While exiting the venue and walking down the front steps toward the parking lot, Plaintiff reports that the area was poorly lit. After descending approximately three steps, she was unable to see the remaining steps, lost her balance, and fell, landing on her right side.
Following the fall, her husband transported her to Dallas Medical Center, where she was diagnosed with three fractures to her right foot and ankle. She subsequently underwent surgery on October 27, 2022.
