On May 7, 2025, at approximately 2:05 p.m., Plaintiff was traveling eastbound in the second lane of IH-30 near Second Avenue in a 2021 Ford F-150 (Unit 3). Defendant was traveling in the same direction directly behind Plaintiff in a 2018 Ford Transit (Unit 4). Defendant failed to control his speed and maintain a safe distance, rear-ending Plaintiff’s vehicle. The impact caused Plaintiff to collide with a 2019 Volkswagen Atlas (Unit 2) in front of him, which then struck a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado (Unit 1), resulting in a four-vehicle collision.
As a result of the defendant’s negligent driving, Plaintiff sustained injuries, and his vehicle sustained damage.
