On or about March 28, 2022, at approximately 9:23 a.m., plaintiff was traveling southbound in the 1900 block of South Cockrell Hill Road in a tan 2015 GMC Yukon XL 1500. At the same time and location, Defendant was exiting a private parking lot in a white 2020 Ford F-350 and attempting to turn southbound onto South Cockrell Hill Road.
Defendant failed to yield the right-of-way from the private drive and struck plaintiff’s vehicle head-on. As a direct and proximate result of the collision, plaintiff and her two passengers sustained bodily injuries, and the vehicle sustained significant damage.
The driver, my client was awarded $85,653, and the passengers were awarded $69,347
