Domingo García — Domingo Garcia is an attorney, former Texas state representative, and former Dallas Mayor Pro Tem — the first Latino ever elected to that role. He co-authored the Texas Dream Act (HB 1403) and, on April 9, 2006, organized what remains the largest immigration-reform march in Texas history, drawing over 500,000 people to downtown Dallas. He served as LULAC National President from 2018 to 2024. A trial lawyer and TV commentator for more than 40 years, he continues to be active in civil rights advocacy.
Hiram García is an Austin-based journalist, media producer, and public affairs strategist best known for his frontline coverage of the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests, which drew wide local and national attention. A University of Texas at Austin graduate in Political Science and International Relations and a former LULAC chapter president, he has advised organizations including TxDOT, Capital IDEA, AGIF NVOP, LULAC, and American Gateways on strategic communications.
