18-Wheeler Crash Houston
On Thursday night, a motorcyclist was killed in a hit and run accident on the Katy Freeway in Houston, Texas. The motorcyclist was reportedly driving east when an 18-wheeler tractor trailer hit the side of his bike, causing him to lose control and go underneath the trailer. The driver of the trailer did not stop, and it is believed that other cars may have also hit the victim. The driver of a Nissan Sentra hit the motorcycle, stopped, and called the police. Once paramedics arrived, they pronounced the rider dead.

Authorities said it appears other cars may have also hit the victim on the freeway but did not stop to help.
Police are now trying to find the driver of the semi-truck and are appealing for any information that may help to identify the driver. Anyone with information is urged to contact the HPD Hit and Run Unit.
