snow car pileup El Paso TX | Domingo Garcia Law Firm

A major accident on I-10 at Paisano shut down the freeway for hours. Snow fell most of the day in El Paso on Valentine’s Day. Feb. 14, 2021. Aaron E. Martinez / El Paso Times

The recent winter weather has created havoc across Texas roads and interstates where there have been dozens of accidents, pileups and crashes. We pray for everyone who has been injured, and we wish a speedy recovery for all of you.

Winter weather is something especially dangerous here in Texas especially since we do not experience it much. It just takes one driver to create what we just saw on I-20, near Odessa. In this pile-up several trucks or 18-wheelers crashed or drove off the road. The injuries from these type of collisions can require years of treatment, and should definitely be considered if you ever need to negotiate with your insurance company.

If you have been in a car accident it is always a good idea to talk to an attorney. You have rights and the insurance company is not going to advocate for you, you can reach attorney Domingo Garcia at 214-941-8300.

A 15-vehicle pileup occurred on Interstate 10 east of El Paso, one of multiple traffic accidents in the region Sunday due to snow and ice.

The Texas Department of Transportation reported several traffic accidents on Interstate 10 from El Paso east to the I-10 and I-20 split.
