Freddie Torres

Accomplished attorney and with over ten years of experience in diverse areas of the law including personal injury, insurance law, worker compensation, medical malpractice, intellectual property, wrongful termination, entertainment law, family law, contract law, bankruptcy law for creditors, and labor law.

Fred graduated Cum Laude from the Pontifical Catholic University School of Law in Puerto Rico where he was a member of the Dean’s Honor Roll and admitted to the Bar Review, authoring the article The Perils of Judicial Notice: An Argument in Opposition of Rule 201(c) of the Federal Rules of Evidence and Rule 11 of the Puerto Rico Rules of Evidence, 45 Num. 2 REV D.P. 213 (2006).

He is an outstanding legal strategist, skilled negotiator, proven leader, problem solver, and mentor with excellent management skills, currently the head of the Houston Office’s Pre-Litigation Department handling Personal injury claims.

Admitted to the State Bar of Texas, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the State Bar of Puerto Rico, the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico , the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Puerto Rico and the First Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston, Massachusetts.

Fred Torres is also a Veteran, having served in the United States Marine Corps. He took part in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, 1990-1991.
